At Te-Kworo Foundation's three boarding schools in northern Uganda, nearly 1,000 students and around 100 staff sit down to eat every day of the school year. That is over 1,050 people fed across 38 teaching weeks — at a total food cost of around $150,000 a year, or roughly $4 per person, per week.

For many of our students, these are the most reliable meals they have. They come from communities where food scarcity is a daily reality. A full stomach is not a given. At Te-Kworo, it is.

Feeding the school is as much a part of education as what happens in the classroom. A girl who is hungry cannot concentrate. A girl who eats well, consistently, has the foundation she needs to show up and learn.

This EOFY, we are inviting you to be part of that.

What Your Gift Does

Every dollar you give goes directly to the food program that keeps our students nourished throughout the school year — ingredients, meals, on-campus cooks, and the kitchen operations that make daily meals possible across three campuses.

$50,000 in Matched Giving

This EOFY we have also secured $50,000 in matched giving. Every dollar you donate will be matched up to $50,000, meaning your gift goes twice as far.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Closing midnight 30 June 2026.

$4,000 — Sponsor the Grinding Mill 
At our Nwoya campus, maize is currently taken offsite to be milled before it can be used for school meals, adding cost, time, and extra logistics to the daily food program. A grinding mill on campus would change that. It would allow us to process maize onsite, reduce food preparation costs, and give the school greater independence over its food program for the long term. A simple investment with lasting impact.

$10,000 — Feed the Whole School 
Cover the cost of feeding nearly 1,050 students and staff for a significant portion of the school year. A gift that will be felt at every meal.

$50,000 — Sponsor a Full Term of Meals 
Cover the cost of feeding nearly 1,050 people for one complete term.
